New kitchen

I think every one has noticed that I’ve been a bit MIA as of late.  I really miss being in the kitchen, cooking , photographing but my life as of late as been extremely busy.  Busy good that is!  I’ve got so many great design and photography projects on the go I can barely keep up with my cooking. But one thing I am excited about is my new kitchen.  I moved into my new place a couple of months ago and things are slowly coming together in a design sense.  I’m working with my good friend Kris to come up with some designs for furniture for the living room and of course the kitchen.  So for now, I’ll give you a glimpse into some of the elements in my new kitchen. I’m going for a industrial look with Ikea shelves for cups, plates and jars of food.  I’ve painted one side of the wall with chalkboard paint for doodling and art.  The light in this space is going to be killer for food photography.  Which I’m really excited about doing again real soon.

  4. That’s fantastic, Peter. Congratulations! I love the spoon holder and was eyeing them at Ikea but because I can’t poke any holes in my rented apartment, i couldn’t buy it. I’m also so happy that you’re blogging again – it took me a while to get to know that because I’d keep coming back but would see the same post, so I thought you’d actually stopped blogging. Then, today, on a whim, I decided to check your blog – was too thrilled to find so many posts waiting for me.

  6. You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something that I think I would never understand.
It seems too complicated and extremely broad for me.

I am looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
