Any food photographer or for that matter, any photographer will appreciate another photo with great light. Light is what it’s all about. Well…timing, patience, an artistic eye..etc.. etc… but nothing makes me swoon like finding great light. And I know that everyone of you die hard photogs will whip out any apparatus that can take a picture when you’ve stumbled upon great light. It won’t matter where you are. You are guaranteed to stop and shoot.
With all of the fancy equipment, more sophisticated lenses etc… I can’t help but turn back to what I imagine great photography used to be about. All about light.
So with all this said I’ve been inspired to put together a couple of different workshops focusing on getting the most from your equipment and releasing creativity. Time to stop reading a million and one blogs on how to shoot this way and that way and learn to recognize great opportunities to shoot. Give your self fun editorial type assignments to push your boundaries and to create beautiful images. The other workshop will focus on empowering you to create a great website (on your own) to showcase your work and how to reach out using different social media platforms.
send me an email – peter (at) peterbagi (dot) com to be signed up to receive a heads up on when the course will start and for further information.
